Green Empire is our only Extrait de Parfum, a higher concentration, more material on skin, longer life, stronger presence. The name is not decorative. Thai basil opens the fragrance before you have fully registered it, sharp and aromatic with a slight anise edge that is green in the most literal sense, alive, photosynthetic, something growing. Timut pepper, Haitian vetiver, and freesia fill out the top without blunting the impact. In the heart, Akigalawood and Georgywood, contemporary woody materials derived from patchouli and cedarwood respectively, build an architecture that is both modern and rooted. Indonesian patchouli at the base is among the finest in the world, earthier and more complex than most, and Ambrofix gives the whole composition an ambergris-like diffusion that carries it further than you expect.
